President Barack Obama says he won’t go after Washington state and Colorado for legalizing marijuana.

In a Barbara Walters interview airing Friday on ABC, Obama is asked whether he supports making pot legal. He says _ quote _ “I wouldn’t go that far.”

But the president won’t pursue the issue in the states where voters legalized the use of marijuana in the November elections. Marijuana remains illegal under federal law.

  • I have been clean and sober over 25 year’s, August 6, 1987. I have fibro, diabetes, arthritis, back surgeries and was in a serious auto wreck. I have been married to my Peggy for nearly 50 year’s.
I have been on Vicodin and percocet for year’s and I hate pain pill’s, they do NO good for me.
Last week I smoked a small hit of marijuana, about half the size of a dime. I used a can and hid in my garage when I did it. My sobriety is so important to me. When i smoked the first time I recorded the event. I went in my house, sat in my chair (with my little dog) and I basked in the relief. My feet, legs, hands, arms, shoulders, neck, back, NOTHING hurt. I knew the pain was there but it was covered. This was the best I had felt for over 20 years.
The relief lasted 3 hour’s. I would fight anyone that says it shouldn’t be prescribed for pain. I suffered too long because I was afraid to try it. I smoked so much before I got clean and sober. Then I used it for a high, not relief.

    I feel great!!!
