Rick Simpson in Defence of Eddy Lepp

I can’t say that I know Eddy very well, since we have only spoken to each other a few times on the phone, but I do know enough about Eddy and his cause to state that we should not allow the system to imprison such a man. Eddy was growing the most medicinal plant on earth to help others and for this he was given a ten year sentence.

I totally agree that someone should be going to jail here, but it is not Eddy Lepp. Would it not make sense to imprison buffoons such as this judge, who would pass down a sentence like this and pretend that justice has been served. Our government and legal system are the real criminals here, not Eddy Lepp.

The long suppressed medicinal aspects of the hemp plant are becoming widely known. The use of hemp throughout history in medicine is legendary. Hemp is man’s oldest known and safest medication and is also non-addictive. So for what reason should anyone be imprisoned for growing this wonder of nature?

The government is very well aware of the danger hemp presents to big drug companies and other huge money interests, so they used the old ‘divide and conquer’ tactic on the public.

First, they filled the people’s heads with totally unfounded lies about hemp. They then put corrupt laws in place restricting hemp’s use. The real reason this was done is not to protect the public from hemp, but to ensure the profit margins of government’s rich friends. If we lived in a true democracy, the greater good of the people would come first and not the interests of big money. Unfortunately, it is more than obvious that we do not live in a democracy; instead we live in a police state fuelled by greed.

In a sick sort of way, you almost have to hand it to them. Who would think that the public would be so easy to mislead. All they had to do was change hemp’s name to marijuana; they then used this word to villainize hemp to the public. Decades of lies and misinformation about hemp has taken its toll and many people today think hemp is some kind of dangerous drug due to all this propaganda.

The simple fact is, hemp is not a drug it is a plant and the essential oil this plant produces is literally a cure all. Financial concerns are the only reason hemp was ever prohibited. Drug companies make billions filling the public full of poison addictive and dangerous chemicals and the public gets to suffer and die because we have allowed these criminals to outlaw the use of hemp medicine.

This, my friends, is not democracy it is tyranny for which both you and I and our loved ones are paying with our very lives. It is our system that is committing crimes against humanity, not people like Eddy Lepp.

As far as I am concerned, Eddy is a hero not a criminal and he is one of the greatest hemp activists on the planet. Is it right that we should turn our backs on such a man and allow our corrupt system to imprison him? If they are allowed to do such a thing to Eddy Lepp, how long do you think it will be before they come for you?

I am asking everyone associated with the hemp movement to stand up and do something about this situation. For too long the system has kept us divided. We must come together to defend this man from all the corruption, for we too have a stake in all of this. As for the legal system and the judge that gave Eddy this sentence, maybe they had better wake up to what they are doing (We Have). Any judge that would give anyone such a sentence for growing hemp deserves to be locked up themselves. Maybe ten years in prison would give such judges a chance to reflect upon the crimes they have helped perpetrate against the public at large.

It is time to put an end to this system that has been terrorizing the public for decades. If the public will simply look at what the real truth is, it is more than obvious that profound changes must be made. I am not saying that we should destroy the system, rather I am saying we must change it. Government, the legal, and medical systems etc. Must begin working for the greater good of the public. The control and corruption big money has put in place must be swept aside in favour of what can really help humanity.

If just a small amount of common sense is employed, there is no need for violence or bloodshed. We simply have to bring the real truth to the public and all will change. From my experience with hemp medicine, I cannot help but wonder at the behaviour of politicians, doctors, and lawyers etc. Do these people not realize the evil thing they are doing is killing their own loved ones? Do people that work in these professions not succumb to cancer and are they really stupid enough to believe their own propaganda?

I challenge anyone to stand up and take me on over this issue. For several years I have made this same challenge to the system with no response. Obviously they know what I am saying about hemp medicine is true or they would have defrocked me by now. Their behaviour over this issue highlights the fact that what they are doing is criminal and they are not representing the public’s best interests (but their own). Eddy Lepp has done nothing that could be considered criminal. I only wish I could say the same for our system.

Stand with me and let us all take our freedom back and put an end to all this corruption and madness. The people are the real power in any country and it is high time the criminals who have been running this show realize it.

Yours truly,

Rick Simpson
